Curl/Comeback routes online

I know these have been money online for years but can someone please advise me as to what defense is best to stop them?

I play mostly man D but have also tried zones and it seems nothing works. That being said, I have seen others online have success at stopping or at least limiting them so any help would be appreciated

thanks!

Re: Curl/Comeback routes online

I really feel like NCAA and Madden are basically just games of whack a mole. Man coverage? Crossing routes. Zone Coverage? Screens, Corner routes. By the time I stop 1 thing there is another money play waiting to be unleashed

but when i'm on offense they drop 8 or 9 into coverage and no one ever gets open and I get sacked in 3 seconds because 5 lineman can't block 2 or 3 pass rushers due to the lack of double team blocking. it's just frustrating.

Cover 2 press coverage has worked for me in Madden and past NCAA's. Spread out your d-line and linebackers too.

Re: Curl/Comeback routes online

thanks for the tips guys. Never been so frustrated in my life. I have always been a pretty good online gamer without the cheese. usually win about 80% of my games but for some reason with this game my D just blows and I cant stop anything!! Going crazy over here

Sink is the way to go. Looks like they are going to ride them, then the corner breaks it off and sits right in front.

I usually go 2 man under because they press the receivers. Or you can go man and just hot route your corners in hooks or flat zones. I do that from time to time.

Cover 2 Soft (Cover 2 Sink)

Is how you'd stop it in real life. On the game it works quite well too - I'd recommend playing your Corners off so they just sit back and wait to break on the ball.
