Re: Best Release of NCAA Football for PS3???

Questions to those that answered with NCAA 14:

What level do you play on?

Do you not find the running game was too easy?

Do you not find passing late in the game too easy with the DB glitch?

There's a whole thread dedicated to sliders that are trying to offset the last two questions I just asked and there's been very little improvement without causing more issues. Just curious how everyone is getting such great game-play when there's a lot of us frustrated to the point of trading in the game???

I don't want to come off the wrong way I'm just curious if most of you don't notice those things, don't care, or are doing something that I'm not that's making game-play better.

I play on Heisman.

Running doesnt seem too easy. Of course I typically play with low level teams and try to build them up. The stats come out pretty decent.

Im not sure what the DB glitch is. There are a couple passing plays in particular that are pretty easy to score some big yards. I make an effort to limit the use of repeat plays by habit.

If you're not familiar with the DB glitch you can scroll through Matt10's thread that has a lot details about it (videos, screenshots, etc). Basically, late in the game the CPU defaults to aggressive pass coverage (same thing you can edit with the adjustments option). In turn, the DBs allow themselves to get beat deep time after time making ridiculous, unrealistic mistakes. So pretty much when you're trailing late & have to attack vertically you're going to get what you want.

I guess I have low expectations when it comes to video games
& am easily amused; I have enjoyed all the NCAA releases.
