We are all missing the big picture here, how does this affect the Squash team?

So can someone give a simple minded guy like myself the cliff notes version of all of this?

Bottom line are we any closer to getting our beloved NCAA football back and if so how soon?

It's likely we are I think...

Idk how they'd work out what schools get into the game in the future but even if they had to rebuild the game and start with just the Power 5 conference I'd be happy. Although (this will NEVER happen) the one thing I have always wanted was to have every division down to D-III and start from D-III as ur HC and get offers to make it to D-1A....One can dream right?? I think 2017 or 2018 is more of a target year for the game to come out tho.

I think this is the beginning of the end for the NCAA. The power conferences are sick to death of the byzantine rulebook put out by the NCAA where they can't buy an athlete a hamburger unless its under specific circumstances. The attempt to preserve the pretense of amateurism in sports generating millions of dollars is a joke and the NCAA is a corrupt and archaic organization that needs to go away.

Well, the NCAA appealed. Shocking, I know.. Interesting quote from their response,
Quote:
"Further, the Court rejected the plaintiffs’ claims that the NCAA licensed student-athletes' names, images and likenesses to EA Sports or anyone else."
Does this mean a college football game sooner rather than later?

Hope to hear EA respond.

Doubt we see the game again.

EA isn't emotionally connected to making a college game like we are to playing it.
