A Dynasty recruiting question

Im a bit confused by this, so thought i would ask, im in year 2 as Baylor and have virtually all the Recruiting Skill tree unlocked ( only one im missing is lvl 2+3 of Locksmith ) and i dont understand how im getting so far behind on some players, let me give a couple of examples, its week 4/5 of the season:

Player 1, im recruiting against Oregon, i put 700 points into him, max im allowed, Oregon is ahead of me, so not locked out, no visit scheduled and i lose 700 points to them in a week, how? they are slightly ahead of me on bonuses, but only by 100 or so, Where has the extra come from?

Player 2, im recruiting against Arkansas, i put 700 points into him, Arkie are ahead of me, visits are scheduled, but not till week 11/14, only 20 points difference in bonuses, yet i lose 355 points, how?

im 4-0 and had just come off the back of beating a ranked Oklahoma in Norman

Not offering a scholly can hurt you after a few weeks if other teams have. Might explain the second guy.

As for the first guy, if there was no visit or unlock used, then you either didn't put any points in him and you mistakenly thought you did, or you hit a glitch of some kind. I've never dropped that much on a recruit on my board without a visit other than when I am not putting in recruit points. I don't even think failing to offer a scholarship will drop you that much. Let us know how the subsequent weeks look.

i cut the first guy from my board, i was that far behind i was locked out, despite offering a schollie and scheduling a visit

You were locked out? Did he commit to Oregon, or was there someone else ahead of you? Sorry from the initial post I got the impression you and Oregon were the only ones in the picture.

Also, does he have a dealbreaker?

he didnt commit to them, i was 1000 or so points behind, but competing, then lost 700 points on them out of nowhere, there is another team other than Oregon that isnt locked out, but i didnt lose ground on them, they were just a bit closer, he didnt have a dealbreaker
