For those folks who are so in love with a PS2 controller that they wont give it up....

You DO know that Xbox has a PS2 controller adapter? Which means you can use your PS2 controller on the Box. I have one.

and do the buttons match up correctly - do the jukes work the same? Are the same buttons pressure sensative that should be on games like NCAA. I can put a Porsche body on a Yugo frame, but that won't make the Yugo drive any better.

NO, they don't Bdunn. The L1-R1 are reversed with L2-R2 so it makes the game very difficult. I have that adapter too. It works fine except for THAT flaw.

I wasn't 100% sure about that.. thanks for the info.

PS2 online is free for all EA sports games.

He's saying that you have to buy the network adapter to be able to go online in the first place.

I've had the Network adapter for over a year.... I paid... what, $40 for it? How much have I paid since then? $0

If I would be doing the same thing on XBox it would have cost me $50 by now.... I think I'll just put that towards another game, so I can play ANOTHER game online, not just the same ones I had... for longer.

That's just silly.

I don't play online but from what I heard, the xbox live games are much more problem free and lag free than the ps2 online games. I know I would pay more so that I wouldn't have games slow down and mess up more often.

No disrespect pared (cuz i'm lovin ur sliders) But I'm thinking that the lack of lag, all of the great games online and lack cheesy games online combined with not having to buy memory cards evens out the cost of xbox live in my book

That is the greatest myth perpetuated upon American since the Lone Gunman theory.
