Just Wondering....

Will NCAA finally fix LSU's feild? Not being picky but our yarrdage is marked of every 5 yards and EA has not gotten this right yet. Its not a game killer at all but I figure being CO-National Champs would get us some love detail wise. And what kills me is that SEGA got it right like 3 years ago so its not like its impossible to do.

The only NCAA championship awarded in division 1 last year went to the fighting blue hens of Deleware. That 16 team tournament was the only NCAA postseason event. All the bowl games are not NCAA events. LSU won the BCS championship and I believe the USC won the AP championship. But the NCAA does not award a championship for 1A football. That mythical award is given by other organizations such as the BCS, the AP and the Coaches Poll. In fact any system of rankings could award whatever school it had on top at the end of the season a "title", because it is only a title.

Not to take away from LSU, but Oklahoma had no business playing in that game, so it's not accurate to label them the "best." If 2003 Michigan lined-up against 2003 Oklahoma, I'd take Michigan. OU (overrated university) is overrated every year. Even their final ranking after they lost to LSU was too high. A team that loses its final 2 games (being humiliated in one) should not be ranked that high. Everyone just loves to bow at the altar of Stoops. It's ridiculous. The bottom line is both USC and LSU can make legitimate claims to the championship, but neither school should try to claim supremacy over the other. That's what you have to get over. Just for the record, though, I do think LSU would have edged USC had they played. LSU's defense was just too tough last year.
