I've noticed a lot of people on this forum put their dynasties in their signature, with full websites devoted to their dynasties, including news, stats, scores, everything. I am just curious about it. Someone who has done this, please fill me in on why. What is the reward in doing one of those? Am I missing something?

It makes ur dynasty that ur playing more interesting. I love reading about other's NCAA dynasties, as I'm sure they love reading mine

There is no reward. It just something fun to do and adds to the experiment.

It'sjust fun. I like writing up the "story" of each game, and building the "story" of the season. Sports is about more than scores and W/L records, and tracking your dynasty helps create the drama that makes sports so compelling.

exactly...I can't wait till rosters are done and I can start my dynasty, I had a blast writing the first news story in mine (Lloyd Carr had a sudden heart attack, leaving a 23 yr old assistant (me) to take over at Michigan). I guess I've got a bit of a writer in me, I just enjoy writing the articles

Yup, you said it. Being able to look back on a player from their first year in college all the way to 10th year in the pros if your into it! Gotta love it.

Can anyone point me to a FREE site where I can do this? I can't justify even spending $6 at dynastymanager.com. Thanks.

I love this kind of stuff. I run a "news" site for my SEC fantasy football league, and while pointless, it's a lot of fun.
