for you guys with hd tv's, turn off widescreen mode on ur xbox settings!!!!!! Thats whats screwing it up!!!!!!!!

What's the point in having an HDTV if we have to turn widescreen off?

i figured this out logically too. I figured that weve been getting different speeds at different camera settings, so it must have something to do with the way the games presented. Andsince the ps2 had no problems itr made me think, how is the ps2 differnt from the xbox???? It doesnt support widescreen in most of its games. I may of jumped thegun on this one, but it seemed to work for me.

i agree with you, but at least it maqkes the game playable. Just move your system to a normal tv

Nope, if I can't play it on my HDTV, I won't play it all. If that is the only way to play with no slowdown, I will not purchase the game.

this thread if for people who have the game and are very disapointed and frustrated about the slowdown, and it has a way of being fixed. This thread is important as it will help many people.

I have a Widescreen HDTV, and I notice ZERO slowdown. I have my XBox set to 480p, 720p, and 1080i and to widescreen. So I don't think that's it.

He is on to something. MVP Baseball was the same way when played in 720P. I totally agree with 8bit on this. I just played a game myself and noticed a huge difference taking it off widescreen.
