I don't think so... on the Xbox you can Hot Route the backs to block by using the black and white buttons, but for WRs those buttons are used for slant right and slant left Hot Routes, not blocking.

you cant edit routes on running plays




well that sucks. Off topic but can you hot route to a block on passing plays, like keep your TE in to block if you think a blitz is coming?

ehhh, just something i was thinking about, that couldve helped the cpu running game...just some idl thoughts, you know

but out of all those plays(i scrolled through millions)...no WR blocking, thats dumb

That is kind of annoying. It would be more realistic if the WR identified the zone and peeled off his route to block. I suspect this is only a major problem when they play a cover 2 and the CB is sitting in the flat waiting for you.

To help the CPU running, I just boost up the run blocking and RB ability a couple of notches -- I figure if they get the running going early then they won't have a reason to just suddenly start throwing all game.

yea...i've tried that but, LOL, they still get 2.1 a carry every time


alot of factors go into...like i've stated numerous times...the coded awareness just seems to high...you cant get anything done

but i have noticed that if you mix it up WELL...you can throw the d off guard...but, you know, i just play...dont really go looking for that special play
