Regarding EA\'s boxscore emails.. What am I signing up for?
Heya everyone.
I am really impressed by EA's implementation of NCAA online. The fact that I can get boxscores of games played against humans emailed to me is simply superb, and I would love for these boxscores to be sent to my "personal" email account.
However, this personal account I have is very selective in that I am making a serious effort to not give it out to companies, spammers, etc.
Now, when I sign up for EA's boxscores via email, am I also opening up the spam floodgates?
I assume the answer is yes, but despite clicking "I Agree," I sure didn't read the Terms of Service and various other lengthy agreements.
Does anyone know this, or have a hunch? I'd like to use my personal account, but I don't want to open it up to spam..
I guess I could always forward the emails to my personal address, and I just thought of that now.. But I'd be interested to see your responses/thoughts.
Thanks!
