Re: Blocking kicks

I always use 6-3-2 goal line formation, and blitz all. Slant D-line, spread them out and pinch LB:s.

Re: Blocking kicks

my buddies and i have a league going on, and my firend was 0 and 2 playng against my other buddy who was just starting. they were going back and forth scoring TDs until my buddy scores to make it a 7 point game. He kicks it away, stops him all three downs and uses all three of his time outs. he then hits a like 55 yard TD pass to male the score 32-31. He decides against going for two and takes the safe route with the extra point right? WRONG! for the first time in legit 200 games ive played of ncaa my buddy blocked the ****ing extra point! he then recovered the onside kick and ran the clock out

Re: Blocking kicks

I finally blocked a pat after all these years of playing it. I went with fg block controlled the mlb which i have a fast wr subbed in his place. I used the dline contain and a crease opened up by the c and g. I’ve seen that crease before but never hit it cleanly. It did feel forced like the cpu was controlling my guy more than me. Also their kicker was not good. Missed the next pat by hitting the crossbar. Figured that may have had something to do with me blocking’s the first one.

Nah I believe it solely has to do with how well you get that jump. I blocked a 40 yarder today just because I was able to get up the middle without a lineman suctioning in to me to block me. It was 100% me controlling the guy

You’re probably right the reason I said that is he jumped to block it and I don’t remember hitting the jump button. Maybe I did out of reaction because I do make a point of jumping everytime when they kick just incase i get close enough

Maybe it's an automatic thing that happens if you get within range haha

I thought about that to which could be why it felt like I wasn’t controlling him

Re: Blocking kicks

I don't remember which one it was, the version that had the on-screen momentum gauge and had jump the snap in it. I blocked FGs in that one by jumping the snap a few times that I can remember. That was one of my favorite versions of all time, whatever year it was.
