Just got fed up with this sorry team and threw the controller down full force. Pieces are everywhere. I am simulating the rest of the season and guess what? I have lost every single game. And pretty handily too.

I was thinking about using challenging sliders as these and try to build a team up. Guess what? Hawaii with no wins just beat us. I can see that I was up against impossible odds for my football mind.

Going to restart dynasty with a team not ranked in the hundred teens.

I have one controller left.

It's never worth it. Maybe for a quick second it feels good to destroy something to ease your frustration... but, laying down cash for a new controller... not worth it.

4 years since last controller smash. I only smash them in my mind now.

Trust me. It happened. I have one left. The one that got busted up was aftermarket. Hey just to be safe, guide me in the direction where I can find the best aftermarket ps2 controller.

Picked one up on amazon not too long ago for around $8 total including shipping

you can get them at your local thrift store or goodwill for a couple bucks.

if you're still playing on PS2, recommend the Logitech Wireless controller though!

I feel your pain - just check out the thread I have about the most frustrating season but guess what?

Things change. Since I vented on that post, I won two straight - including a game in which I made the big play to win in the last minute,

I wouldn't quit on your dynasty. I don't know if I would even change the sliders. Just when I get to that point, something happens that keeps me using them and I've loved the challenge.

As for recruiting, if you are using some hours rules, perhaps ease up on them.

Just think, you could turn around a ONE win program into a championship team - and how much sweeter would that be knowing where you came from.

Kind of funny, the last few years playing NCAA 12 or 14 (sorry 13 - you sucked) I had these monster dynasties (17 years at Auburn; 53 game win streak 11 NC etc) and I'm having more fun with my Wake Forest team (season six) in just trying to make it to a bowl game and trying to build the program into an ACC contender and then a BCS bowl winner (lol - can't figure out out to mod yet).

MHO, keep plugging away and get the last laugh.
