changing players to DE

i think i saw this posted before but i signed a 4 star MLB who had a ratinng in the mid 70's but then his rating at DE was a 91. I had several other LB's i signed that i could have changed to DE and been about 10 points better in ratings. I was wondering if this was a bug in the game or what because this seemed not right to me. Has this happen to anyone else?

I dont really understand that. It seems like the game believes anyone ol player can be an effective DE. My friend recruited an ATH that was 6'2" 198 lbs. He was rated a 96 as a DE. I really dont understand how a guy that tiny would make such a good DE.
