Cpu vs Cpu Tactis

Hi guys I have not played FIFA for a while now. Just bought the game and wondered if it’s pissible to get the CPU to change tactics during a game. I.e if they are chasing a game from behind do they automatically change tactics and formation to the attacking and ultra attacking one, or do I need to pause the game go into tactics and set it from there. And If I do will thebtactis stick or revert back to normal after a while?

I think the cpu changes the mentality automatically. It's not always obvious to me though. I've noticed the cpu sometimes changes formations towards the end of the game if they're desperate for a goal.

I think they do change mentality automatically. I've noticed a CB moving up front as an extra striker occasionally when a CPU team is chasing the game.
