Shooting Again !!! (Assisted or Semi-Assisted)

I know it's a bit late in the day to be going on about this again but just interested to get peoples thoughts -

Recently moved onto World Class level and it's a much better game at that level. To give myself more of a chance I moved to assisted shooting and have been scoring fairly regulary but no long range goals, even though I can bend them in from anywhere in the Arena (and that's with fatty Kevin Nolan).

Having looked at some of the goals uploaded on the EA Forums I never get close to scoring any of them though I did get a few decent ones on semi-assisted when playing on Professional difficulty.

Question is does semi-assisted allow for a greater variety of goals whereas assisted will mean that you score more goals ?

Also is it actually harder to score on World Class than Pro or is it just that the oppositon is better i.e. chances are harder to create ?

Finally how on earth do you do an overhead kick ?

I'm hoping that the shooting will be sufficiently "tweaked" in FIFA 2010 to allow much more variety of goals scored.

Anyones thoughts will, as ever, be greatly appreciated.

Well,one simple thing: go manual.

I know its hard, I am actually still stumbling a bit myself with all-manual, but only there you can reach the full variety of shooting.

It seems, as if only on manual shooting you have a fair chance for every shot while assisted (especially, and even semi) is very scripted so that you can't score from everywhere while on the other hand, on some spots you nearly have automatic goals.

IMO,WC is harder due to more significant AI cheats/stats boost.

Assisted: Easy to score, but massive lack of variety
Sem: less easy to score but more variety
Manual: hard to score, full variety
