PES/WE like controls.

Hey guys, I'm still trying to adjust to the FIFA controls.

So far so good, the only problem I have been having is with the shooting.

For the settings I personally use:

Auto Switching: ZERO
Pass Assistance: Semi
Through Pass Assistance: Assisted
Cross Assistance: Manual
Lob Pass Assistance: Manual
Shooting: ?

I think that the shooting on Assisted may be too assisted; like it's always going towards the goal, even from weird angles.
On the other side, on Semi it seems too easy to miss easy goals. (Not having problems with one on ones, for that I use the finesse shot)

How is the shooting on the PES series, assisted or semi? That way I'll stick with the one I'm used to the most.

Any recommendations?

I ended up settling on assisted, just because it was the only chance I had scoring from long distance.

I never cared for assisted shooting, feeling that it was indeed "too assisted". But that is more a matter of taste, as assisted shooting probably equals more goals. I know when playing online, opponents will put in nearly impossible shots from tight angles or with their back to goal inside the box that I can only assume require assisted aim... or incredible skills that I don't have.

I am an average if not below average player however I have found
more of a shot variety with semi assisted shooting. Like the poster
above, I use the same settings, although I have now moved to a
manual set-up for through balls.

On a side note, I wish there were more ranked games on purely
manual settings. This makes for more of a fair and tactical game,
than playing the Man U types with everything assisted and
endless pressing.
