Custom Tactics Online?

Good morning.

Dusted off 10 last night, and is it just me, or are we not able to select
Custom Tactics during a live match? The first game I played I was able
to select a custom formation, however custom tactics did not appear.
I thought I forgot to upload tactics however they were there under
my lobby however again not available to select in my second match
of the evening. Have EA cancelled this option?

If anything, I actually hope so, as I feel some users just max out
the aggressiveness across the board and with limited fatigue it gets
rather cheesy online. Any thoughts, confirmations?

No, we cannot assign custom tactics during an online match. However, I believe you can assign them to your team(s) of choice in main menu and they will be active during online matches. This also includes the d-pad quick tactics, so you can have up to 4 custom tactics to choose from in-game.

For example, I have a custom tactic assigned to Arsenal in my squad file. If I played online, that CT will be Arsenal's default tactic and I will also be able to switch to any CTs assigned to my d-pad quick tactics. I think... I can't remember the last time I played an online 1v1 match.

Makes sense. I played with Villareal and USA last night, and could not
load my custom Toronto FC tactics. I do recall being able to load a
custom tactic earlier regardless of the selected team earlier this year.
