Players not going for the ball!

I am getting beyond frustrated when players that are closest to the ball are running in the opposite direction. There will be a header or a pass that has been deflected and the player that is closest to the ball starts running the other way or if I make a pass perfect the player that's right next to the ball he doesn't touch it and let's it go right past him. Has anyone else experienced this?

This has been an issue for a while and this most recent patch has brought it out more than any other time. I have had occurrences when the ball just sits there in front of an open goal and my AI teammate backs away from the ball allowing the CPU to clear it easily. I believe that the AI is set to be more defensive than offensive.

Yeah, after the last patch this seems to have gotten worse than its ever been. Especially in the box. Holy crap is it bad in the box. If you have someone in front of goal and you are on the wing and try to pass to them, 9 times out of 10 they let it go right by them.

Also that new video they put up on the main menu page is a joke. "We listened to your feedback and fixed all the top issues". The **** you did. You guys haven't fixed a single top issue with the game in 5 patches. Hell, in 5 years.

If you're offline, try to increase the Sprint slider for the user to 51 or 52. The Sprint value seems to serve as a reaction slider in my testing - it was the same for FIFA 15 as well. Sorry if you're an online player, not sure sliders are applicable.

I'm at 52 for sprint speed and still hasn't helped

I have GOT to check out that video when I get home. Also within those 5 patches not a single career mode issue addressed, SMH.

the loose ball issue is incredible. its actually got worse since the patch, which is insane. its probably one of the worst glitches ive ever seen in fifa.

Whats funny is the dude talks about how passing is more accurate in certain areas now. Which makes me wonder if hes playing a different game.
