No Camp Nou for Fifa 17

Well this is a huge blow for the CM guys. Does anyone remember what stadium Barca had the last time the Camp Nou was not in Fifa?

Looks like it was FIFA 13, and we got the generic "El Libertador" instead:

BTW, you can rename all of the unlicensed stadiums in FIFA, so changing Barca's stadium name to "Camp Nou" will help... a bit.

I'm not even going to notice. Because when you play you are the field. The only time it's going to make a difference is when you not move around the menu for a minute and it goes to the panoramic of the stadium.

Well, FIFA is all about presentation, to a fault almost. I would argue they value it more than actual gameplay. Not having one of the most iconic stadiums in world football, home to arguably the biggest club in the world, hurts a little in that context.

This won't be a huge deal. Unfortunately it probably won't be modded into the PC version due to the switch to Frostbite. But I can live with changing the name.

Re: No Camp Nou for Fifa 17

Yea this isn't a huge issue for me. I never play in the BBVA, considering my career mode consists of taking a League 2 team up to the Prem...but I also take some time when I get the game to put the correct stadium names into the game so that it's got a sense or realism to it.

Surprisingly, it helps a lot. You don't notice the stadium much when you're playing, but you notice the name when it pops up before the game!
