New Fan...Roster Updates/Patches etc

Hello all.
Long time American sports fan, lapsed Football fan, just gotten back into the beautiful game after enjoying the beautiful World Cup.
Does FIFA update the club rosters, in a similar way the NHL and MLB games do?

How will I know if I am playing the latest set?

I plan to play as Fulham, who are still in the Championship on my version of 18? (HUGE FAN OF MITROVIC)

Yes, the game automatically checks for roster updates before entering any mode. One way to check is to see if the form option is enabled in exhibition.

If you start a career, the game will ask if you want to download the latest roster update.

You can go into the roster section outside of career and download the latest squads. Make sure you do it before you start your career.
