Spectator mode and/or subs would be great. If they can't make subs then at least the person on the bench could spectate in the meantime.

Custom Leagues would also be so helpful. I'd also like to see more (or rather, any) options for friendly matches, like being able to adjust the length of halves and forcing manual controls. these options are available in 1v1 friendlies already

It will never happen but if only full manual clubs was a thing.
