I want em, dang it. Maybe next year. This is another thing that would make the user feel as though the playoffs and especially the Stanley Cup Final was different.

also agreed. the super bowl patches were a nice touch in madden this year. I have wanted to see these included for a long time.

But yeah they would be a nice touch for sure. I'm sure they will come NHL is becoming the most consistent sports game around for building on what is good so far. I don't think NHL 10 will disappoint in that department.

Yep. I remember that. NHL should be an easy game to put them in too. The NHL basically uses the same design every year. Unlike the Super Bowl, which has a custom logo for each game.

It's not the design it is the jersey mapping that will need redone. They need to steal the idea Madden used to ge the patches on their jerseys.

The way NHL has it now they would need to re make every jersey and put a patch on it and use double the space on the disc to store it all (to have non patch jerseys and patched ones). Madden doesn't have to do that.

Hopefully next year.
