I googled NHL 10 AI and the topic the CPU OFFENSIVE AI DID IT GET WORSE .I am a Offline player and I read your thread and notice your points were very accurate especially "passing the puck repeatedly back to the blue line or rise and repeat".My troubleshooting went as far going to players attributes no luck.

I just want another point of view. maybe its just the experience of one game but I let it simmer see what happens the next day , I might forward offline users to try Attribute Effects from 6 to 0

No luck,Set my AI opponent strategies ,all 4 lines,to behind the net.Same results passing the puck back and forth between the winger and defenseman.

Patch please

I still see the same issues...probably the main reason why CPU SOG totals are on the lower end this year. Annoying.
