Good selection, EA

NHL 10 coverboy, Patrick Kane, scores the Stanley Cup-clinching goal for the Chicago Blackhawks. Pretty cool, although I was hoping the Flyers would come back yet again to win it all.

Yep DJ, a pretty neat little coincident.

For me, I was hoping for a game seven back at Chicago. The losing home crowd is almost always incredibly respectful...and Philly was no exception last night. But it's just always so much better when the home team gets it.

That sure was a weird ending wasn't it? Like many others even at the game, I was kinda...what just happened?

Re: Good selection, EA

Didn't EA also predict the Hawks to win the cup before the playoffs started?

So even better for them and proving how realistic the video game really is

Yeah the ending was weird. Kane and the other guys on the ice were all celebrating, but holding back a bit b/c the ref didn't signal goal right away. Then, they had a quick review and finally the goal was official.

Re: Good selection, EA

I thought it was awesome that for a few seconds Patrick Kane was the only person who knew that the Hawks were Stanley Cup Champions. I know that it's not going to happen, but I'd love for Toews to get the cover in 11.

Re: Good selection, EA

It really reminded me of the Gold-Medal Game Winning Goal kinda similar spot and type of goal where it was just shocking and snuck in without the goalie really expecting it.

I've always wondered why he gets booed.

Is it because of the lockout year?
