EASHL Question for NHL 11

EASHL
-Are your friends currently in a game? The dressing room will show the matchup taking place. Play a drop-in match or practice, then join your teammates for the next EASHL game.
-New to the EASHL is the Club Challenge feature.



Any insight what a drop in match is? Is that maybe joining a live game in progress game that be cool? takin LW in a game that used as AI for example, not sure?

I wonder what the matchup screen will be like If it will show how much time is left and a live scoreboard from the game which would be really cool.

I have two ideas on drop-in games...

1) Like OP posted, you can actually join an in-progress game.
2) Perhaps an option where you play with all cpu players in a "game" environment, but no stats count or anything, just a practice game.

But number 2 would depend on what the EASHL practice rink is. If it's human skaters only, then it's possibe. But if it's always 5 on 5, then probably would be redundant.

Very curious to know exactly what this is....

The practice option is going to be frickin kick-*** if it allows you to practice with your teammates in all the different scenarios:

1v1,
Human v AI
1 v goalie
3 on 3
Powerplay
etc.

No, but with this whole 'one game at a time' garbage I hope you can join games in progress.

You can't join games in progress.

Drop in games is just the new term for Random OTP.
