What happened to the group hugs?

If I remember correctly back on NHL 10, and maybe 12 after a goal was scored there were a few different cut scenes of the players on the ice getting together and hugging one another as players do 99.9% of the time after a goal in the NHL.

However, in NHL 12, every time a goal is scored it goes to a cut scene of the scoring player skating by the bench and giving the team high fives. I don't know that I ever noticed this before recently because I'm trying to capture a few screens after a goal and I can't get any of my player's celebrating.

Am I just imagining this or was it taken out? Hopefully if it was it will make a return in NHL 13. Didn't they say they improved the presentation? I would think this would be part of it.

It BAFFLES me why they took this out of the game.

Like OP said. Literally happens after almost every single goal.

I just don't get EA sometimes...

im not sure why EA took this out...but perhaps to give way to the goal celebration? if EA could think about ways on how to put this 2 together...that would be great.

I don't know how I didn't notice it before, but now it really bugs me. And I've only seen one post-goal celebration from NHL 13 so far, I believe it was Steven Stamkos, and it was the exact same thing.

Did EA say that they were making improvements to the presentation this year?

I also remember they used to have the three stars of the game come and skate out on the ice in a circle with a spotlight. That's gone as well. I don't understand it. Why would you ever take something out like that?
