CPU Difficulty?

Hey all,

I've been playing NHL religiously for about 4 years now. Play online versus a lot with my friends and EASHL is always fun too. Anyway, I always play a season mode. I started a season with the Flyers on pro difficulty. I was 4-7-2, and most of the games I won/lost had a 1 or 2 goal differential. I set it to rookie as a lot of the moves I used in NHL 12 do not work anymore, so I figured I would lower the difficulty just to learn the game a bit better.

I played 2 games and find myself winning 13-2 and 6-1. I feel like everytime I take a wrist shot from the point it just goes in as long as I pick a corner. Its like either the game is challenging, or just really easy. Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks!

Tom

Re: CPU Difficulty?

Playing on Rookie difficulty level is going to be way too easy no matter where the sliders are set.

I would suggest staying on at least pro and adjusting your sliders so the gameplay is where you want it to be.

Remember you can always go into practice mode to get used to the moves and dekes also.

IMO All Star is the best level to play on and adjust the sliders from there.
If you try PRO it can be challenging but the CPU never gets that many shots on goal, I find all star its always more even.

Re: CPU Difficulty?

I found All Start better than Pro and I stink. I messed with so many sliders but it seemed on Pro the CPU got way too many easy goals and the CRAZY MODE flipped on and you got beat to the puck no matter what you did or turned it over.
