It can't be GUARANTEED to arrive on release date UNLESS you do the 2 day shipping (FREE with FREE Prime Trial). Ideally it COULD come on regular shipping but many instances it arrives Thursday-Friday of the release date week.

So 2-day shipping will guarantee it will arrive on release date?

Re: NHL 14 shipping

If you chose free 2 day shipping (Amazon Prime) or the release day shipping you will get it on release day. I have always got games on release day and I've pre-ordered at least 10 games since I started using Amazon. Even if you don't have the luxury of Amazon Primes free 2 day shipping, you should still get it on release day because there is a shipping option that is called release day shipping. If I'm not mistaken the release day shipping may even be free. So basically as long as you Pre-Order it a week or so before, you should defiinitely get it on release day. That's from my experience.

No problem! Honestly I would recommend using Amazon all the time for games. They have great deals and it's free shipping most of the time. The only way I wouldn't buy a game on Amazon is if another store offered a better pre-order. Also if you have any games you want to trade in do it through Amazon. All you need is a box because they provide you with a free shipping label. You get way more money for games compared to gamestop. Then it just gets added to your Amazon account and you use that to buy whatever you want. Normally I use it to pre-order another game. IMO Amazon shows that customer service pays off. I'll also add that Amazon Prime is great if you use Amazon a lot.
