Injury Update
Tonight the Winterhawks lost forward Mark Stone for the next month with a concussion. Stone has 18 goals and 24 assists in 78 games.


Also injured was Chris Wideman, who recently returned from missing 12 games, perhaps a bit too soon as the defenseman reaggravated his lower body injury. He is pending evaluation.

Quebec's 6 Game Win Streak Provides Playoff Birth

Look out NHL, Quebec is for real after a six game win streak has rounded out a 25-13-3 second half record. The Winterhawks, still widely referred to as the Nordiques, will face off against the Detroit Redwings in the 1st round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Redwings finished second in the division with a 43-29-10 record and will have home ice advantage. Quebec won 3 of the 4 games between the two clubs this season, out scoring Detroit by a 10-7 count.

"I'm incredibly excited...I cannot believe that this is happening", said Pavel Datsyuk as he considers the reality that he'll go toe to toe with his former teammates and friends in a playoff series.

Quebec will be expecting Bobby Ryan to return in game 2 or 3 but be without the service of Mark Stone and Chris Wideman for entire series. The Redwings have no significant injuries.

Love these sliders ..but allstar was a bit to hard for me ..i went to pro and was a little to easy but then i turned cpu difficulty up to 4/6 and cpu strategy adjustment up to 4/6 and it made things perfect to me..those two sliders really make a diff i have noticed when trying to balance the game for your on skill level
