How to fix sliders & settings after ps4 software updates

The ps4 just had another software update, it messes up the settings/sliders/gameplay. Makes it way to fast and easy.
(Just played first period and up 4-1, 19-6 shots, had 5 PPs)




To fix this you need to delete the game from the main menu on ps4, take out disk, restart ps4, put disk back in, then it will automatically update the 1.04 patch, install that when its ready.

Enter the style you want (hardcore, simulation, arcade),
then enter the level superstar, then adjust sliders.

Do not adjust the penalty time scale or the after the whistle rules (this will mess up the style settings).

Do not worry this will not delete any season mode, tuners or rosters.

Also make sure your ps4 video & audio setting are right. RGB range & YPb/CbPr/Cr range are both to Full. Resolution to auto (1080p if your not using an oppo or video processor). Deep color output to auto.

Has anyone else found this issue to actually exist?

No. He's going crazy haha. He's got slideritis really bad. The ststem update has no effect on how the game plays.

If you cant notice a difference, its because there already was two software updates a few wks ago and if you didn't delete & reinstall the nhl15 disk then you wouldn't notice a difference this time.I did and that's probably why you cant tell but I can.

If someone didn't delete the game and reinstall before the ps4 update then you wouldn't notice a difference. I have everytime and that's why I can see and most people don't (they havnt reset p4s to defaults, deleted game and then reinstalled).


That's cool. Just about everybody has said same thing. There might be a bug in my ps4 because I can see a difference everytime theres a ps4 software update.

I also reset ps4 to default the other time this happened and that put the game back to out of box settings before any tuners and patchs. That might be a difference to.

Its good to know how to reset everything incase or to make sure.
