bought the game but should i open it or not

so i picked up NHL 15 for the one yesterday, and now i'm kind of hesitant in actually playing the game, is it worth keeping it, is the game more realistic as far as goals and goalies, cause i used to always score at least 4 or 5 goals a game easily and they barely shot the puck
