How can I pick up broken stick?

can anyone tell me how to pick up a broken stick? I'm going around and around pressing every button and he won't pick it up!

I didn't know you can pick up a broken stick? In real life that would be a penalty.

Not sure why you would be able to. That's an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty IRL if you don't immediately drop a broken stick.

What he said. I doubt there is an ability to do what you are trying to do - there would be no point.

This isn't smackdown vs raw u can't pick up broken sticks and smash other players with it. U'd be suspended for games or even ban from the league lol

Just skate to the bench u'll get a new stick or even go into bench for a shift change.

Yeah, you definitely can't pick 'em up, as per the real NHL where you get a penalty for playing with one.

If you skate back to the bench they'll hand you a new one.

you can only do that in REFEREE Mode! which is hella fun..look up the video.. So much fun!!!
