Does anyone know why some guys who are in juniors get put on the AHL roster in franchise mode ? Also guys who haven’t even signed an ELC will be UFA’s if not signed most of them are guys who where just drafted. For the Rangers I’ve had to sign these guys or lose them.

I’m running into the same problem… guys who should be going back to CHL are taking up spots in the AHL.

I also created some missing prospects before I started my franchise and it signed one of them to a one year deal when franchise started.

I also seem to have 50 contracts when franchise started and that shouldn’t be the case.

Because EA does not have the rights to NCAA hockey and the final rosters are not set yet!!

NCAA rights has nothing to do with it. We’re talking about prospects that play in the CHL that are under 20, that are sent to the AHL instead.

For some reason Guys who logged time in the AHL last year are not eligible to go back to the CHL according to EA. Which is actually pretty realistic, as players rarely make a backwards move after moving up to the AHL. Guys with entry level contracts like Cole Dsillinger can be moved back to CHL by simply leaving them in your system, while guys who logged AHL minutes last year don’t seem to go back down

These guys are in juniors not college obviously because as you put it they don’t have the rights to NCAA guys.
