Another "feature" that NHL 2K10 had, albeit a very bare bones feature but at the very least you could change the colors and designs on a mask.

I swear if the dev team sat down with a group of online & offline players, and just listened & implemented what both sides want, the public perception of this game leading to launch wouldn't be in the toilet all of the time

Don't worry guys, I have it in writing from a GC who is a prominent streamer, that they (the devs) 100% at least talk about the offline experience every year. Even though they don't do anything to improve it like a mask editor, AI improvements, create a team improvements, they at least 100% talk about it!

Woohoo! Just hold on for another generation or two guys, we're almost there! They talk about doing stuff!
