I was hoping he was wrong big time. But I have to give the man credit, he took the Diaz and Mendes fight when he had little reason to, even more so with Diaz. I understand Ferguson not taking the MJ fight tho, apparently the UFC was going to pay him less and no title fight.

Unless the Nurmagomedov-Ferguson fight is rescheduled, Ferguson should be the first contender after McGregor's child is born. Maybe international fight week. Nurmagomedov has time to reschedule til May-ish then it's Ramadan and he's out for the summer. Bad timing.
