recover too fast on the ground after KD

as you know, there is the health event system in the stand up. if someone getting a big damage, he is being certain rocking state. every moving or striking are very slower.. and he have to block up or head movement for survival from health event. but there is no certain health event on the ground after KD. so there is no reason we have to goes to the ground when we got a KD on the current mechanic. their recover is too fast now even if they received a big damage. their movement(transition) should be more slow and block gauge shouldn't be refill. I wish they added a certain rocking state on the ground after KD like a health event in the stand up.

UD3 had a good system about that. there's certain rocking state on the ground after KD and you could finish in that time or allowed survive to your opponent.

You can see the frame work is nearly in EA's 3rd iteration. I've experienced the following

  • A knockdown leaving me stunned and a quick stand up
  • A stun leaving me wobbling backwards
  • A knockdown keeping me on the ground and having to manually stand back up
  • A knockdown where I'm severely hurt and the opponent is smashing me while I flick my stick left and right


They just need tuning to make last point happen more frequently than the 3rd point, smooth out the transition into ground positions and you have what some people are complaining about.



It's absolutely not impossible to do, and I'm certain with what we already do have it's even easier and will 100% be addressed.

UD3 definitely had the best ref stoppages in the history of video games

i miss ground everything, lol, tkos in this game you look dead till you recover or are finished. Why aren't we blocking? why can't we try and catch a strike?

I just hope we can get some sort of clinch and ground revamp or rework for the next game, the striking now is the best it's ever been (with some slight downsides but mostly tuner stuff that could be fixed real easy), we just need the other half now.

I'm glad the big reviews from Gamespot and IGN are saying the same thing though because getting more or less mocked because we're just simple consumers sucks, guess that's just how it works though.

That’s because in this game there’s no true finish the fight you just go dead and can’t recover, No ref stoppages. , it’s either you survive or you don’t The lack of urgency and scrambles!
