Your favorite setups for your body shots?

Just thought we could all help each other today. Im jab pressure heavy. Makes them throw straights i minor dash back and lunging jab. I set up 163b with the normal 12. Like to set up the body uppercut with a double jab then rear hook(ed parkers famous for this and 1f 2b) also other body shots are setup well with a jab feint

Generally any standard tequila will do, preferably with only 10s.

Based on what my opponent gives me. I'll either do double body hooks when I slip an Uppercut, or go Uppercut Lead Body Hook if they start to pull back expecting a regular hook to the head.

Re: Your favorite setups for your body shots?

If in the pocket, jab - lead body hook, straight - lead body hook or jab - rear body uppercut.

If at mid range, throw a jab, back off slightly and wait for a reaction then throw a body straight or body straight - lead body hook if it can reach.

If they are backing up then throw a few jabs and wait for them to slip then throw a body straight.

If they are backed up against the cage, my favourite is the rear body uppercut - lead body hook.

Re: Your favorite setups for your body shots?

i wish it was easier to work the body in this game, it felt so good in FNC.

you have to be standing like right in your opponents face, the forward moving lead body hook is terrible looking, and mixing it up to the body just doesn't feel fluid because of the " set in stone " tekken like combo lists.

i only play offline and the only time i can mix it up to the body is when the AI is right against the cage or if the AI is an aggressive pressure fighter like platibum or something, and even then it feels like i have to keep it really simple with like stationary jab-lead body hook or stationary straight-lead body hook.
