I think we just have to embrace the fact that we get to smash some fat guy dressed in pink with an elephant mask sometimes in this game.
I normally try to make the characters as realistic as possible but if more people buy the game because of these things, why not?
This means there will be more budget in the long run to make it a better mma simulation.
I still don't know if I liked UFC undisputed 3 more then UFC 3 and I don't want to fire up this discussion again but to me it seems that UFC 4 will be the new king of mma games

If what I’m hearing is true ,the gameplay is fluid , the grappling fluid , ground and pound is impactful and brutal and career mode is everything we wanted it to be such as retiring when we want, more organizations to be part of before wanting to go to UFC, rivalries ,call outs and more than I can proudly retire UNDISPUTED 3[emoji18] EA UFC 4 sounds like everything I been craving

Boy the clinch and td stuff really sound good. I wonder if its gonna be something sorta like undisputed's, where different outcomes could happen based on stats of both fighters. For example in Ud3, certain fighters had this running outside leg trip td that could lead to multiple outcomes based on their stats vs the opponents. If the opponent had good td defense, sometimes the td would just end up in over/under clinch. Or if they didnt have good td defense, it would sometimes chain to a back clinch or you'd just trip them and get the td. Interested to see what GPD has came up with regarding this and the whole RPM being involved.

I know knee elbow spam could be annoying when a player who crafted there game around it and was really good at it was doing it.

Jab body straight spam though? I never even knew this was a thing. I always thought uppercuts were fairly easy to time, and it was also pretty easy to block.

The body straight had too much range. Maybe that's what changed.

Completely reworked takedowns, clinches, submissions, ground game........polished up the stand up.......scrambles........RAGDOLL KOS ARE BACK!!!!!
Ok guys I'm 110% officially excited again!!!!!!!! I can look past the cheesy CAF options , the game improvements are what I begged for and for the most part they sound like they are there! Did they address everything ?? I'm almost positive they didnt but it sure does sound like they improved the areas that needed it the most. Man thank you for your hard work and efforts, Geoff!! Love you bro, no homo
