Applying item card question

After I apply an item card that has a -3 tkdwn and takes me to the minimum of 30 and below, so it should be 27 but it stops at 30, if I apply a move card that adds +2 tkdwn will that put me at 32 or will it stay at 30? I just applied some item cards that took some stats down to the base. However I already have some move cards applied. Should I remove and reapply the cards? Will that nullify the negative stats from the item cards if I am at the minimum base stat? Anyone know?

When you apply attribute cards it shows your base stats only, basically showing your fighter without move cards. So the attribute cards won't take you below your minimum base for each particular stat and shouldn't affect move cards at all.

I recently did some attribute upgrades and since my base leg power stats were already at 30 (minimum) I just applied everything where negative leg power was the only penalty. You're basically getting the additions without taking the penalty.

Move card bonuses are applied separately as far as I can tell because they are tied to the card not directly to your fighter.

If I apply a -2 when I'm already at 30 it does nothing. If I apply a move card will I be at 32?

Yes you will be at 32. So apply every card you can that takes away from that stat before adding to it. It will never go below 30

Doesn't matter. I just think it's easier to start fresh with my moves after doing the attribute upgrades. Then apply moves to fill in gaps first. Moves I like 2nd.
