How To Play As The Fighter With Shorter Reach?

Reach is incredibly value on this game... Or maybe I just suck at playing against long fighters. Anyone got any tips on how to get on how to be successful against longer fighters?

Head movement and constant pressure. I've been able to win with guys like Cormier and Lombard using those tactics.

What he said. Myself I prefer rangy fighters as pressure fighting isn't my style. I'd suggest finding some good grapplers you like using. Pressure. Clinch. Takedowns. Get good on the ground.

It's funny. I just picked the game up and popped it in. Ran some fights with Tony Ferguson. Just fought a Khabib so I used my range to bust him up. He clinched and took me down. Smart strategy.

The fun part was he was on his mic talking trash. I actually started letting him take me down as he always tried to go mount. Reversed him. Mounted him. Over. If you can get good on the ground many wins await you....
