Muai thai block needs to be R1 head R2 body

for some reason some thought it would be good to have auto muai thai clinch
in different areas and situations in this game. AND while im not so fond of auto Muai. i do have a major problem with the blocking in this area

1. its almost impossible to "GUESS" which way they are striking
2. its always head strikes (because you can win with just one)
3. with the bad tells you cant block off the animations consistently
4. none of this would be happening if R1 was Head block (like always)
and R2 body.

in fact, it would make the clinch game more realistic and also more work required than press forward and spam high low head shots to a delayed blocking system.

there has been 4 KO's from clinch knees in ufc history
yet there is 4 KO's from clinch strike every hour in this game
in fact more KO's from clinch strikes than submissions guaranteed

by making R1 head R2 body you'll see the fights will be alot more realistic and it will take some work in the clinch and people will start using the body strikes
etc. right now the clinch isnt broken

the blocking system is

Preach on. I've been saying this forever. When my opponents body is hurt and I throw a knee I want them to have to choose between blocking head out the body with the knee.

I loathe the current blocking configuration, I think the dudes that are good really prefer it the way it is though.

I can sometimes block pretty decent in the clinch, but i'm gonna be honest.. a high/low block would just make so much more sense.

Yeah, good luck telling the difference between body and head knees. What your asking for would make the Thai clinch super OP. There is a reason it works as it does right now.

They have no clue how OP this would make the clinch. Rock, you already have blocking issues. This would make the clinch a nightmare.

Ive played the game with default high low blocking in the clinch.
It was a death sentence. Hence why it was changed.

Could you give an example of why it would be a death sentence?

Because you can't tell the difference between a high head knee and a body low knee in the clinch based on the start-up animation.
