UFC 2 Division 7 and 8 Take Forever To Find A Ranked Match.

Does anyone else run into this problem were you can never find matches in div. 7 and 8 in online ranked?

I just got to Div. 7 and it takes forever to find matches or it never does and I just have to keep trying over and over.

Kinda sucks to be honest and championship fights never seem to find a match for me now.

Same problem, or I just fight the same 3 people over and over.

I just stopped playing ranked for a few weeks to let people catch up.

There's 27 ppl that are in div. 7 n 8 and i seem to fight about 4 of those ppl over n over or lower rated guys in div. 5/6 after waiting a few Mins. or it never working.

During mid day it's ok, but still is a lil hard but at night it does take a few try's and more so championship fights.

I'm only div 6 right now and I'm in no hurry to make it to 7. Guys don't seem any better than me here, but I'm hovering around .500 in the division right now. Been losing in some of the most BS ways since recently being promoted. At least I'm not waiting long for matches, though. Good luck with all that fellas lol.

They tried to fix the matchmaking from EA UFC 1, but they ended up making it worse. There are multiple problems. By dividing into divisions, they limited the player base. Plus multiple weightclasses.

Lets say there are 10 weight classes and 6 divisions. That's 60 pools of players.

There was a problem. People hit the cap. This broke leaderboards. EA came out with an emergency hotfix.

SOLUTION: Add more divisions. But this had unintended consequences.

With the same 10 weight classes, there are now 8 divisions. That's 80 pools of players.

(80-60)/60 = 33% harder to find an opponent after leaderboard "fix"

They really need to reconsider these "kneejerk-hotfixes" that lead to more unintended consequences.

Combine this with my earlier warning of online numbers dwindling and you have the perfect storm.

I had a feeling this would be an issue so i tried to plan ahead a bit.

I've spread out my playing time since launch --- in ranked I'm Division 6 (but just got there a week ago) --- and I have 4 CAFs in division 5 ultimate team; and my other CAF is division 3

It's cut down a lot on 'failed to find a session' type error.....while (sorta) keeping me away from the total cheeseballs with OVR 98 CAFs and/or only use JBJ lol

Obviously not a perfect solution by any means, but if you haven't already, try out some Ultimate Team

If our community were 10x larger this wouldn't be that big of a deal but yea, we're a pretty small community, so makes sense only a handful of people would be in division 7 or 8 right now, and they just end up facing each other over and over again lol
