Why does my character move backwards after I land a strike?

Anyone else bothered by this?

It was a issue in UFC 1 and we asked for it to be addressed but it's still rearing it's ugly head in this game.

You can rock someone with a head kick and when you push the stick forward to chase, your character will actually take a step backwards, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Giving them the opportunity to escape because for some reason when guys get rocked in this game they stumble backwards faster than Usain Bolt.

Also, this silly finish the fight. Why does it completely take over my ability to mix up strikes? Why can't I mix in body shots or leg kicks? Instead I am forced to charge across the octagon swinging arms like a 3yo having a temper tantrum.

The only way to not have your character move backwards is to completely let go of the movement stick, we'll if you do that your character stands still and you lose the opportunity to finish because the input lag between you telling your character to move and him actually moving is quite large.

The delay between commands and actions in this game is WAY to large. You need instantaneous input commands for a mma game and this one does not even come close with it.

It's really frustrating how hard it can be finish someone once you rock them.

Which I think is part of the reason people go for the clinch so much. You can't run away with your hands up and escape every single rock with no effort whatsoever if you're stuck in a clinch.

Finish the Fight is terrible in my opinion, but didn't we have a massive discussion about that already?

Finsh The Fight is my #1 thing I would like changed in UFC 3.

There's some weird stuff in UFC 2 but I'm ok with it, but having a worthless finsh the fight is really bugging me and only a few times do you ever get it to work, and if it does then the person thought you were going to clinch for the finsh and let go of the block.

I dont really notice this. Its probably a problem with your tv having a high response time. Try turning off any post processing in your tv settings or looking for a video game mode

The moving backwards part or input lag?

I have game mode on. But I am playing on a 55 inch tv which is related through my Harmon Larson receiver. Might hook it up to my pc monitor tonight and try it out.

I've heard ppl say that Game Mode actually increases Input Lag on certain Television Sets.

I hate game mode... ughhhh

I can't even watch Blu-ray movies if i am not in game mode as the input lag makes it look weird.
