Quick fight should be made open rank for faster matchmaking

I created an account here just to say how disappointed I was to learn that quick fights are based on rankings. I'm not having too much trouble getting matches, though it's noticeably slower than it used to be, but ever since I hit division 5 in ranked mode, I've been getting my butt kicked ALL THE TIME!!

Now I'm not the best player, and maybe lucked into division 5, but I try to be well rounded and I'm on here like everyday looking for tips on getting better. When I lost ten in a row after I hit division 5, I thought, I'd better go to quick fights and sharpen my skills, but suddenly, I couldn't win any more. I'm losing like 80% of matches, most aren't even competitive.

I like fighting better opponents, I've learned alot from them, but I find I can't practice or implement what I've learned if I'm always getting knocked out.

If quick fights was random, we could learn while being beat by better players, utilize what we've learned on worse players and have wars with people similarly skilled. Sounds like more fun for everybody, not just lower middle skilled players like me. Faster too.

I agree with James. However, the only part I can't agree with is being able to identify the correlation of tougher fights to his rank.

I don't really do ranked fights (basically because I don't like fighting the same 5 guys over and over). But at some point quick match must have been increasing my hidden ranking as I barely win anymore (and suddenly I'm having the same bull shine problem with the better guys selecting Jon Jones, Lawler, McGregor etc.) b/c these insecure (banned word that stats with a P) are too scared to lose a quick match.

I used to disagree with the open rank idea, but I've been convinced. I'd love to have a randomly ranked opponent based on availability as it allows me to play with random characters, knowing I may have a chance to win, as well as the idea of learning from *** beatings or having the chance to try out new stuff on level one guys
