Do either of them act like this in the game?

tbh I'm not sure if I even know the difference between teep and push kick in game lol

Just that...if a guy is charging at me full speed and I throw my rear leg out in a front kick, hits him square in the gut at perfect extension and momentum, but he just bulls right thru it ;( but maybe I'm throwing the wrong strike lol

I thought this too, there seems to be no animation padding for lack of a better word where you;d expect there to be, hit someone with a leg kick off of a parry or when they're heavy on the lead foot and they wince and stick for a half a second a well timed push kick should genuinely push people back.

Re: The Push Kick

Push kicks are with the flat of the foot.

Teep kicks jab with the ball of the foot.

Are both of these represented as different kicks in this game? Or are they the same, for all intents and purposes

I don't think they're separate in this game so to speak...and if not...which do you consider the in-game strike to be; a push? Or a teep? lol

OK thanks for educating this boxer/wrestler lol

Does either of them have any sort of stopping power? Seems that Push Kick should have a lot more stopping power than teep --- only body kicks that I've seen really do any sort of damage or stopping power = roundhouses; and spinning crap lol

Re: The Push Kick

I use it all the time as Daniel Hooker at featherweight. its incredibly useful, if timed well. usually by third round the guy will have brutal body damage and its a easy win from there.
