What I'd like to see is that the majority of fighter's 'default' clinch against cage is OVER UNDER --- not MT Clinch

that way, you have to WORK to make it to single collar or MT, to do damage.

who's with me??
Agreed. It would be even cooler if they had the animation like they were attempting a takedown of some sort to go into such a position.

A couple people on this forum have been asking for the MT clinch on the cage to be changed to over/under so it can look more realistic.

keep pressing the attack then LOL

GPD hinted that they are going to lower the effectiveness of standing block a bit....which is great and what we all wanted

So let's keep up with the feedback

That said --- please make it easier to keep control in Dominant Double Underhooks!

Denial window is much too small

I think we have actually been talking about this since the first game, but it wasn't pronounced because the clinch itself was pretty useless the first game. The MT clinch entry against the cage has always been seen as unrealistic.

How do you deny the spin?

It really is unrealistic. I would look sweet to have over/under as the default position. It would just make fighting against the cage much easier and a actually strategy that fighters use but in UFC 2 if you fight near the cage you automatically get sucked into a MT clinch and that will just get you introuble.

Good question, I always thought it was opposite side but never seems to work so I just knee their leg instead.
