What decides who get the red corner?

I am the champion and I keep getting stuck in blue! What's up with that?

Think it's whoever gets selected first in the match up. I'm almost always red. Think wired connection and fast internet helps.

I don't know if it's just me but I seem to be in the blue corner only if the fighter has a better rank then me

On one profile over only had 5 ranked fights. I won four of those fights, two opponents were division 2 two opponents were division 4. I was red corner every fight. In this profile I'm division 1

I'd like to be in red 100% but I'd be ok with bkue during challenger phase, but if I'm the champ defending I'd like the red, for realism and preference.

The red corner means you're the host, correct?

If that's the case I'd say it has more to do with having a better internet connection than your opponent than anything else.

But I don't know anything about this **** so I could be dead wrong.

Ya, this game needs dedicated servers and the same feature that FNC had where you are always on the left.
