Modified strikes?

Can you knock down someone with one clean modified strike? Can you put someone in a stun state with one clean modified strike?

Re: Modified strikes?

This game needs a sense of danger! You should be able to severely hurt, stun someone with one strong strike. We should even be able to get a severe stun state where we can destroy our opponent because they are so hurt. One kick or punch should be able to get a ko once in awhile. Really makes me mad Brian Hayes made sure one strike KO's were not in the game. Cuts should make it harder for fighters to see / block strikes on what ever side it is on. Starting to get a little bored cause I don't feel the anxiety and fear of dangerous strikes.

Re: Modified strikes?

This is the closest I've ever had to a one-shot KO from a modified strike

It's pretty

...but finishes like this are definitely too few and far between (and it still wasn't a clean KO --- had to GnP to finish him)

Re: Modified strikes?

I wonder if they could use the stamina to create more vulnerability windows. I just made this video to show you how fighters can be vulnerable to one strike rocks, but this got me thinking about how they might be able to put these stamina dips in for very short times in certain times where a fighter would be vulnerable.
