I will make a vid in a bit. I will just cover a few since I will be using two controllers myself. No audio.

Full guard:
-DOM transition to Full Guard Postured Up gives momentum advantage to SUB Feet on hips getup

This for example. A transition from Full Guard Top into Postured up, then allows a faster grapple meter fill up for the feet on hips get up in the next position (RT and down). The same is for each example. The idea is that a fighter has momentum to pull off the next transition faster than what is usually available. You need to go for them right after to gain the best momentum.

A sticky for the 2 threads GPD made would be a good idea. These need to be at the top of the forum with the other ones.

Re: A list of all Grapple Momentum Scenarios in EA UFC 2

Here is a quick vid I made. There is no audio, but I tried to first show the momentum transition. Then show the same scenario without momentum. Then show it again with momentum. Pay attention to the speed of the grapple meter.

https://www.twitch.tv/eddiestone97/v/78042732

This covers 3 of the momentum transitions in this order.

Full Guard
-DOM transition to Full Guard Postured Up gives momentum advantage to SUB Feet on hips getup

Stacked Guard
-SUB transition to Sprawl gives momentum advantage to SUB getup to over under

Full Guard
-SUB transition to Back Sitting gives momentum advantage to SUB sweep to guard right
(becomes clearer towards the end of the vid when I kept trading guards)

Some are though. I made a video that even shows it. Edited: I thought the momentum transitions were actually the transitions that you used their momentum to advance to a better position. Misunderstood this term all this time lol.

GPD put together an excellent grappling guide, and ZHunter made an excellent striking guide--those should be a sticky as well. For all the complaints about this game, there is no argument that it is deep and needs explanation.

I would love for EA to combine guides and videos on YouTube demonstrating different aspects and strategies. Yes, it does take time, but if they committed to one per week, they would have around 50 by now.

Re: A list of all Grapple Momentum Scenarios in EA UFC 2

Why there are NO momentums for Clinch transitions itself?
Ground grappling is awesome. Clinch uses the same grappling mechanics BUT dont use its features (GB reversals, Momentums). Why?

There are. I'll start with one.

Full Muay Thai
--SUB transition to Single Collar gives momentum advantage to Leg Grab Takedown

SUB = Submissive fighter position
DOM = Dominant fighter position

Exactly. i wrote this before also. But i dont see this one and any more momentums in Single collar. So this list is not complete it seems.
