Why they need to just open it for ranked. Then you will just get those tough *** fights sprinkled in. A lot easier to deal with than reaching your peak and getting bored.

Then you would get newcomers running into Divison 8 guys and wanting to quit the game & vice versa. I wouldn't play ranked anymore if I mainly played beginners.. boring as hell.

Undisputed 2009 and 2010 were open. That was the best. It still tried to match you based on your ELO.

You gots to have more fun with the game.

I enjoy sparring with beginners, just throwing strikes goofing around. Most I've played against that are on mic are pretty cool.

This seems like a no brainer, but ranked should have division based matchmaking, and quick match/ unranked should be have open rank matchmaking. There's tons of people that play division 1 quick match that are at a division 6 skill level. No reason whatsoever to not have unranked be open matchmaking.

I probably wouldn't touch ranked matchmaking, I never get matched more than +/- 2 divisions. I'm cool with that.

What does that have to do with matchmaking? Here's EA's issue: They bottleneck. The algorithm sets a crazy barrier. Both games had this issue. You would go up one division, usually around 5 or 6, and it's like it completely reset.
